BP Retail Trainee Manager - Wellington Area

About the position 

We are looking for people who have shown great leadership behaviours in their current role or have a passion to become a great leader. We are looking for a mix of skills including the ability to influence people with a positive attitude, a bias for process, a desire to coach & develop others and those who can demonstrate business acumen.

The key purpose of this role is to learn to manage all aspects of store operations, in particular:

  • Leading a team towards delivering outstanding levels of operational excellence and customer service
  • Maintaining operational standards whilst achieving health and safety compliance
  • Proactively engaging the team to drive sales
  • Assisting the Store Management team with attracting, developing, retaining and motivating a high performing team

This is a permanent full time position and you will be working 40 hours a week. Days and hours of work will be determined in discussion with the successful candidate.

This position is based in the Wellington area. You will be required to move between different stores within the Wellington area in order to complete your training.
